Sketchbook is a new quarterly magazine that showcases established and emerging creative talents in fashion, design and culture with a focus on features, photography and illustration.
Length of placement: up to 4 weeks

London, W11 2PLExperience gained: The student could gain experience of writing and having their work featured on the Sketchbook Magazine blog and also the opportunity to have articles published in the magazine itself.
As well as the chance to write for a variety of fields within the fashion and art world, this placement will allow the chance to conduct in-depth interviews and write features while working closely with the Editor-In-Chief and Features Editor.
The student chosen will also be exposed to the running and operations of a startup magazine.
Tasks could include proof reading of various features on art, fashion and culture, liaising with press and various brands and maintaining and updating the image library. The student will have the chance to submit their own ideas for features for approval on appearing either in the magazine or the blog.This placement would suit students with a background in either journalism or English, as a knowledge of writing and proper communication is preferred.
