Alexander Mcqueen is known for both emotional power and raw collections. Integral to the Mcqueen culture is the juxtapostion between contrasting emotional and even passionate viewpoints which are realised with a profound respect and influence for the arts and crafts tradition. Alexander's collections combine an in-depth working knowledge of: bespoke British tailoring, the fine workmanship of the French Haute Couture atelier and the impeccable finish of Italian manufacturing.
Length of placement: 4 weeks

Experience gained: The student/graduate could gain experience of the creative process: they would be able to get involved with a variety of projects which will go towards making a collection.
This placement would suit a fashion, fashion print, textiles, graphic or illustration student/graduate, who has excellent drawing skills or a very good knowledge of Photoshop or Illustrator.
Expenses:Travel expenses only
Supervision: The student/graduate will be supervised by Holly Marler (assistant print designer) and Nour Saleh (studio manager)
