London based photographer Alexander James has over 20 years experience in the Advertising industry with past clients including Microsoft, Hewlett Packard Peugot, Samsung, Versace, Shangri-la, Ermenegildo Zegna, Chanel and Burj Dubai to name but a few.
Recent work has been published in Qvest Magazine, Creative Review, DesignScene, Luxsure , Design Week and Schon Magazine amongst many others.
Alexander’s and is currently a part of the Art Mosh Exhibition that moves on from Paris to Milan in February and London in March.
His work will also form part of the Kith-en gallery in the beginning of April.
Length of placement: 4 Months

Experience gained
The studio is looking for 1st and 2nd assistants for its many up-and-coming projects that include shooting Fashion Editorials, Advertising and Alexanders much publicized fine art photography work.
The student would gain experience working with professional models, developing their technical and communication skills as an assistant and make great connections with art directors, model agencies stylists ,hair and make-up artists
The placement will serve as a great opportunity for a to gain experience in working for a busy photography studio.
Students will also received training in how to use all of the equipment including lights, lenses and working with a Hasselblad camera.
The Distil Ennui studio is ONLY looking for candidates with a strong production and photography background that are flexible to suit our production schedule and preferably locals to the east London area.
Successful candidates should also be able to commit for at least 2 months as the equipment used takes time to get used too.
