Aromatherapy Associates and The Refinery are recruiting for a confident PR/Social Media Intern to be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day running of the press office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in a career within PR and the beauty/wellness industry.

Assisting the PR and Global Brand Manager with the PR strategy, communications and brand projects, you will be an effective time manager, able to deliver at pace the execution of multiple responsibilities and PR activations at the same.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coverage monitoring
  • Compiling reports and presentations e.g. press coverage, competitor reports and monthly internal reports
  • Updating the blogger and press database
  • Respond to press enquires/blogger enquiries
  • Assisting with ideas and content for the Social Media platforms
  • Managing press and blogger product sendouts
  • Seeding new bloggers
  • Writing blog posts for the Aromatherapy Associates blog
  • Assisting with PR projects e.g. launch events, creative mailers and third party sponsorship
  • General office admin

Key attributes:

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Attention to detail with good administrative and IT skills
  • Efficient organisational skills
  • Strong knowledge of social media channels and digital influencers
  • Comfortable liaising with external partners
  • Proactive ability to work both within a team and independently too
  • Keen interest in the beauty industry
  • Detail orientated
