About: The Ragged Priest is a fast fashion denim and casualwear brand, that is rooted in a 90s grunge aesthetic. The brand always aims to be one step ahead, but at the same time, commercially viable. The Ragged Priest also prides itself on its strong cult following, and social media presence. There has been rapid growth since the brands launch 7 years ago, and they are anticipating continued growth over upcoming seasons. The brand maintains a good ecommerce business, as well as a global stockist base of around 100 stores.

Location: This job will be based at our new London office, with some time also spent at our Essex HQ.

Do you have great marketing ideas and a keen eye for trends? Are you creative, sociable and pro-active and have relevant experience working in a creative role? We are looking for someone to join as a Creative Director for The Ragged Priest. You should have an excellent knowledge of the brand, our position within the market and where we should be headed next. If you have proven experience and are always two steps ahead o then this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish creative direction within the company and be involved with all creative aspects of the business
  • Manage multiple projects from concept through to completion
  • Work with internal teams to generate ideas for pitching and proposals
  • Provide quality control over concepts and projects
  • Develop design concepts
  • Trend research
  • Develop brand-relevant and engaging content ideas
  • Work on campaign and content photoshoots and lookbooks
  • Styling
  • Develop an editorial calendar in line with key events/product launches
  • Constantly have in mind and be working on the creative strategy for the brand

Skills / Experience:

  • Proven brand-relevant experience of working within a creative environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Good organization skills
  • Pro active attitude to work
  • Existing contacts within the industry are also a benefit
