The primary function of this role is to assist the Fabric & Trims Warehouse Assistant Manager in controlling the fabrics and trims through the Warehouse from receipt, booking-in, stock control and allocation.

Responsibilities:

  • To assist in booking in sample and production fabric into the Prima computer system against specific purchase orders.
  • To effectively use the computer systems Prima, Cognos and Excel.
  • To prepare and control the allocation of production and sampling fabrics from dockets. 
  • To assist with fabric stocktakes as and when required.
  • To input pick/pack data and monitor the movement of incoming and outgoing fabric/trims to the appropriate area, ensuring records are accurate and maintained.
  • To send out fabric/trim requests and organise despatch, ensuring area is kept organised and tidy.
  • To identify manufacturing faults and report to Production, as well as answer any fabric/trim despatch queries.
  • Load and unload lorries, move fabric rolls for any location movements and follow all Health and Safety requirements.
  • To check, record and maintain all fabric information and report discrepancies to relevant Product Manager on a daily basis. 

Essential Experience and Skills Required: 

  • GCSE at C grade or above in English and Maths or equivalent qualification.
  • Intermediate level in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Previous Warehouse experience.
  • Previous experience of Prima database and knowledge of fabrics, colours and trims is desirable.

  • Flexible to undertake additional duties as required.
