We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, confident and motivated HR Assistant to join the Warehouse People & Development team on a 6 month fixed term contract.  This role is based at our Head Office in Old Street.

About the role:

  • Drive the Probationary Review process ensuring Managers meet the required timeframes and associated documentation
  • Conduct allocated exit interviews and upload all data into the analytics spreadsheet
  • Recruitment administration including advertisement of all Head Office vacancies, screening CV’s, responding to applications, arranging interviews, candidate liaison and room bookings
  • Support with Retail Recruitment process, including collating CV’s, screening and distributing CV’s to recruiting Managers and producing the weekly recruitment report
  • Manage all People administration as necessary including offer letters, contracts, forms and all associated documentation, ensuring everything is submitted accurately and timely, in line with payroll deadlines
  • Manage the new starter/leaver/changes process for all Head Office new starters/current employees/leavers ensuring all relevant in information is input on to MYHR/paperwork is submitted on time
  • Manage and update the pay review spreadsheet with all changes, leavers, new starters
  • Update organisational charts on a monthly basis
  • Write monthly communication to announce new starters, leavers and promotions and send out to all Head Office employees
  • Upload employee information onto our electronic personnel file system on a monthly basis
  • Support the People Team with any other administration as required

 
About you:

  • Excellent organisational skills, able to manage own diary and cope with changing priorities to meet deadlines set by the line manager
  • Ability to work with volume and in a fast paced environment
  • Good Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel skills
  • Previous experience working as an HR Assistant or Administrator would be desirable, but not essential
  • Strong administration skills
  • Passionate about wanting to develop a career in HR
  • Used to (and enjoys) working in a non-corporate environment
