“LOVERBOY is embarking on a whole new chapter, involving a much deeper focus on innovation within our design appraoch. As we look to build our team, I am hugely excited to welcome a new designer who is passionate about what they do and willing to go the extra mile to produce outstanding work!

LOVERBOY is looking for a Junior Designer to help extend the abilities of our creative team. The successful candidate will be someone who works best in three dimensions; using draping, stand work, experimental pattern cutting and ‘aspect’ sampling to produce original and exciting new shapes and silhouettes to expand the LOVERBOY product range.

If successful, you will work with the Creative Director, guided by the brand’s unique design language, as well as seasonal or project specific creative themes, to produce designs for the brand’s seasonal collections as well as wider special projects and collaborations.

In particular, your role will focus on building out the brand’s womenswear offering, build on an already strong category for the brand that has enormous potential for new ideas, thinking and different design approaches.

Alongside this, you will work with the merchandising team to gain an understanding of LOVERBOY’s product performance metrics, ensuring that your designs help to drive business success, while collaborating with the development team to maximize the profitability of your designs, all while maintaining the pure originality of LOVERBOY’s DNA.

If successful, you will become a part of a fast growing team & report directly into Product Director. The studio has an overall team of 8 people operating across numerous projects and areas in a very fast paced way. This is new role represents a great opportunity for a graduate, relatively new to the industry, to work at one of London’s most excited young design houses, with the opportunity to make thhe position their own and add their mark on the future of the brand.
