Planning:

  • Checking and agreeing pricing seasonally to ensure products sit back in a cohesive structure, taking into account market differences as well as intake margin.
  • Building linecards for your areas and updating weekly. Forecasting through seasonal sales plan ensuring stocks are maintained to cover any promo periods and the styles are never out of stocks. Highlighting any major performance changes to your AM and Merch in good time.
  • Proposing all linecard repeats for your area and ensuring your quantities are updated in the Range Plan.
  • Running sizing and preparing recommendations for your product group to be signed off by the JM/Merch.
  • Once the Range Plan is finalised, setting a new allocation file for the season ahead ensuring all your stores' grades and individual websites are mapped out using these quantities and updating the file weekly to ensure the correct ETA dates are pulled through in line with the phasing calendar. Managing the intake drops throughout the season through the allocation file. 

Trading:

  • Checking auto-replenishment.
  • Checking your areas and highlighting in the Morning Trade meeting any significant changes at product level.
  • Monitoring store performance and highlighting any good/bad stores.
  • Checking what lines have been receipted into the warehouse to update the team in Monday trade what lines are going out that week in line with the planned phasing.
  • Checking stores are not sitting too heavy at any one time and proposing any action points needed. Checking replenishments and checking if initials for any stores need to be amended for fast-turning lines.
  • Updating linecards with weekly sales and checking on any repeats that need to be placed and highlighting to your AM/Merch.
  • Assisting the Logistics co-ordinator by updating the weekly Critical Path and ensuring all goods are smoothly booked into the warehouse in a timely manner.
  • Processing daily intake-prepping/posting GRN’s on Prima
  • Processing PR requests – placing sales order on Prima, sending despatch note to the warehouse, providing tracking numbers if needed.
  • Ad hoc and seasonal tasks:
  • Setting up products into the system seasonally. Loading Markdowns and promotions into the system. Responsible for all price amendments in all currencies.
  • Running sizing reports seasonally and ad hoc when needed.
  • Running end of season trade reports to help the AM and Merch when building out their seasonal top-line view.
  • Raising Purchase Orders.
  • Store transfers-agreeing with the team which lines to transfer and managing the whole process on the system.
  • Manage stock returns from the USA seasonally back to the UK-invoicing and processing on Prima.
  • Seasonal-preparing Retail/Wholesale/UK call-offs.
  • Barcoding- checking printouts from Hallmark match Prima.
  • Assisting the JM and Merch in the store pack for season presentations.
  • London store visits
