Where does this role fit within Ted's team?

This role would suit a candidate with strong administrative skills and a keen interest in the merchandising and trading aspects of the retail industry.

Reporting to the Head of Outlet Merchandising, you will be providing retail support for all Ted's Outlet stores.

Main responsibilities:

  • The main responsibility will be allocating stock out to stores to ensure they have what they need to trade to their full potential.
  • Running and analysing weekly reports.
  • Setting up new styles onto the replenishment plans, allocating sufficient amounts of stock for each style, looking at each individual store and adjusting levels where necessary.
  • Allocating stock out to UK, European and North American stores.
  • Fulfilling customer and head office requests for stock.
  • Liaising with warehouses regarding stock being received in and deliveries going out to stores.
  • Daily communication with stores.
  • Reading the weekly manager's reports, taking any actions necessary with regards to queries or requests and providing concise feedback.
  • Clearing Outlet samples fortnightly, and sending to Outlets that require them.
  • Adding styles to the bible and updating with any new information.
  • Updating all price lists on the system and running reports for stores to check correct prices.
  • Order POS for promos as necessary.
  • Arranging required samples to be sent from the warehouse to the office in time for them to be hung and labelled before TK MAXX or Brand Alley visit.
  • Ad hoc tasks as and when required.

  • A good communicator, able to work independently but also a team player
  • Highly organised and good administrative skills to ensure the smooth running of the daily
  • operations, able to set priorities effectively and use the resources available.
  • Drive, enthusiasm and passion for retail

Tools of the trade:

  • Entry Level - No experience required but some retail knowledge is preferred
  • Excel - Intermediate Level
  • CIMS - No experience required - training as and when required
  • AX - No experience required - training as and when required
