Margene seeks a highly organised, detail-oriented Communications & Social Media Intern who's interested in culture and craft to work with the team in Elephant & Castle, London.

Working closely with the founders, the successful applicant will support the brand across digital and press during the part-time, three-month role.

Responsibilities of the Communications & Social Media Intern

Communications & PR:

• Assist with press outreach and day-to-day communication with editors and industry contacts.
• Support the preparation of press materials, decks, and pitches.
• Research and identify opportunities for brand placement and storytelling.

Social Media:

• Assist in creating and planning content for Instagram and TikTok.
• Support day-to-day posting, scheduling, and community management.
• Research and develop ideas for campaigns aligned with Margene’s visual and tone. 

Email & Digital Communications:

• Assist in drafting and scheduling email campaigns.
• Support the development of newsletters and customer communication.
• Help maintain consistency across all digital touchpoints, including LinkedIn.

Outreach & Partnerships:

• Assist with researching, pitching, and building relationships with aligned voices and platforms.

Press & Sample Management:

• Coordinate press loans and track sample movements, including dispatch, returns, and maintenance.

• Highly organised and meticulous
• Interest in fashion, craftsmanship, and contemporary culture.
• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and digital platforms
• A proactive and reliable approach to working in a small team.
• Editing skills a plus.
