About: Founded in 2020, Millia London is a luxury couture house celebrated for its romantic bridal and eveningwear. Voluminous silhouettes, hand-dyed tulle and intricate craftsmanship come together in designs that embody femininity, refinement and contemporary elegance.

Starting in early September, Millia London is looking for a skilled, enthusiastic Couture Production / Sewing Intern to join the production atelier for an intensive eight-week role in Brooklands CI, Sunbury-on-Thames – outside central London.

This is a hands-on production internship.  It is not a fashion-design, styling or office-based position.  The successful applicant will work alongside the production team on luxury bridal and eveningwear, including Millia London’s signature tulle gowns, sculptural ruffles and intricately constructed pieces.  Suitable applicants will already be confident using an industrial sewing machine and have strong practical sewing and garment-construction skills.

This is an 8-week role, paid at the applicable legal minimum wage, and will provide hands-on experience within a luxury couture bridal and eveningwear production atelier, with potential future opportunities for the right person.

Duties of the Couture Production / Sewing Intern may include:

  • Industrial machine sewing
  • Garment construction
  • Preparing garment components
  • Working with tulle and delicate fabrics
  • Ruffle preparation and construction
  • Linings
  • Zips
  • Hems
  • Hand sewing and finishing
  • General couture-production support

What Millia London Requirements:

  • Confident using an industrial sewing machine
  • Strong practical sewing ability
  • Good garment-construction knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable carrying out repetitive production work when required
  • Able to work carefully with delicate fabrics
  • Able to commute reliably to Sunbury-on-Thames TW16 7DX
  • Available to start in early September 2026
