As a Data & AI Engineer Intern at COS, you will support and work in collaboration with the wider COS AI, Analytics & Data team. You will assist in identifying strategic challenges, conducting in-depth analysis, building of data products and collaborating with stakeholders to turn data into actionable insights that support business objectives. 

What you will do: 

  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines.
  • Transform and model data using SQL/dbt.
  • Support data for dashboards and reports.
  • Validate data quality and troubleshoot issues.
  • Work with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, BigQuery).
  • Document data models and business metrics.
  • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Strong SQL and Python skills.
  • Experience with dbt and data modelling.
  • Understanding of data pipelines and ETL.
  • BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Cloud platform exposure (Azure, GCP, etc.).
  • Version control and data testing.
  • Communication of technical insights.
