Global Shirt Box is looking for a motivated, hands-on Intern to support the design and development team for a minimum of three months in North Acton, London.

The successful applicant will be working in a role combining design support, product development assistance, and studio organisation, offering valuable exposure to the full product lifecycle, from initial design concepts through to production, as well as insight into working with major retail accounts.

What the Intern will be doing:

• Assisting the design team with day-to-day tasks
• Researching trends and supporting the creation of seasonal trend boards and design packs
• Creating CADs and preparing CAD briefs for the India development team
• Supporting with print design and artwork creation
• Assisting in planning and organising artworks and developments
• Filing and organising fabrics within our fabric library system
• Maintaining and organising the showroom, office, and stock room
• Supporting with general admin tasks and responding to emails where required
• Assisting with sample organisation and general studio upkeep

What Global Shirt Box is looking for:

• Studying for or hold a degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, or a related field.
• A minimum of basic knowledge of fabrics and an interest in product development
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator
• Organised, proactive, and willing to get involved in all aspects of the role
• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
• Comfortable supporting both creative and administrative tasks
• Photoshop skills are a plus
