The Prom Gown's Fashion Design Intern role is designed for ambitious, naturally skilled fashion graduates.  The role is a pathway for us to see whether you are competent and naturally capable enough to establish a career in the fashion industry.   We will assess your technical design skills and natural flair for colours and fabrics while allowing you to engage in commercial business.  We will see how well you perform throughout your time with us, and on completion of the temporary role, we will decide whether to offer you a permanent role in the company as an assistant fashion designer.

Requirements:

  • Fashion graduate
  • Practical design, pattern cutting, sewing and CAD technical drawing skills
  • Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D and using a drawing tablet.
  • Strong communication skills, both in-person and on the phone.
  • Social media content creation skills
  • Good customer skills
  • Good usage of Google Drive and Google Suite.
  • Very competent in the use of social media and underlying fashion trends
