We are seeking a creative, motivated, enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our team.  This internship will focus on creating visually appealing graphics for our social media platforms, designing email newsletters, and assisting with content creation and social media management from our store at Westfield Mall.  Suitable applicants will have a strong eye for design, an understanding of social media trends, and a passion for marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Content Creation:

• Assist in capturing photos and videos for social media content, including store events, product launches, and behind-the-scenes moments at the Westfield location.

Social Media:

• Schedule and post content on social media platforms
• Monitor engagement
• Assist with community management by responding to comments and messages.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm new campaign ideas
• Track content performance
• Implement feedback for continuous improvement.

Content Strategy Support:

• Assist with researching social media trends, identifying relevant hashtags, and helping to grow the brand’s social media presence organically.

Email Marketing:

• Help design and create email newsletters to promote store events, product launches, and special offers.

Reporting:

• Track and analyse social media and email campaign performance, providing insights and suggestions for improvement.

Graphic Design:

• Create visually engaging graphics for our social media channels, e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc., and email newsletters, ensuring all designs are aligned with our brand identity.

Profile:

• Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or Canva.
• Basic understanding of social media platforms, trends, and engagement strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Interest in fashion, retail, or lifestyle branding is a plus!
