Calling all beauty lovers!  We are In-Trend, a world-leading beauty intelligence agency based in Hackney Wick, London.

We are looking for a beauty-enthralled individual to work with us on a full-time or part-time basis, to help us identify new beauty innovations and innovative brands.  This is ideally a hybrid role (1/2 days per week in the east London office.

From admin-heavy duties to creating our own trends, you'll undertake the following tasks:

• Research: Reading industry journals and magazines required.
• Tradeshow analysis: Identifying new beauty innovations and companies that are innovating in a major way across beauty categories, including skincare, makeup, haircare, hair styling, aesthetic medicine, and wellness.
• Social media and magazine analysis: Identifying upcoming hacks, application techniques, trends and looks on social media and in magazines.

Requirements:

• Excellent research skills
• Comprehensive level of English
• Available to work at least 20 hours per week
• Interest or understanding of the science in the beauty industry – you know brands and beauty tech, and you're excited about it
• Knowledge in the Beauty and Wellness industry – aware of and excited about the industry’s key and upcoming players.
• A minimum of basic knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

What you can expect:

• £12.21 an hour (paid monthly)
• Support in building and understanding the trends - do not need a trend or writing background, this is our job.
• Insight into the running of a busy Beauty agency
