We are offering a Sales & Marketing Student Work Placement for proactive and eager fashion students undertaking thier industry placement to join our team and help NAMES fullfill its mission and support the planning of next September’s fashion presentation for London Fashion Week alongside the realization of a variety of other projects.

A friendly start-up environment where you will work alongside the founders in a beautiful central location.  Please note this is a unpaid Student Work Placement but we will do our best to create a fun and engaging workplace while providing a front row insight of the fashion industry and the perks of participating to all our events and enjoying sponsors benefits.
 
Under the supervision of the Sales & Marketing Maneger, the industry placement will provide key insights on different sides of Sales – Marketing – Account and Brand Development management to give a 360° experience in fashion being Sales and Marketing the key focus of the internship but involving also participation in the event pre-planning processes and the actual event management the show in September working alongside the Event Manager and the Creative Director.

What you will be doing
 
Sales & marketing:

  • Develop and implement the marketing and sales strategy for our shows during London Fashion Week
  • Identify and embrace new business opportunities in the form of events in other fashion capitals for private clients or collective shows
  • Strategic sales campaign management; ensure monthly targets are met.
  • Curate and grow relationships with potential and existing clients to generate new leads and achieve KPIs.
  • Pitch company services to prospective clients, oversee and advise on their budgets and collateral.
  • Daily engagement with designers across the globe; facilitate the selection process and manage clients
  • expectations.
  • Analyse and report on competitor activities to senior management

Designer Relations:

  • Manage relations with current clients providing key informations to the upcoming shows, answering questions and providing support for the event organization.

 
Brand Development:

  • Identify and embrace new business opportunities industry collaborations and strategic partnerships

 
Extra:

  • Any talent or passion of yours related to fashion will be implemented in the experience such as fashion styling, photography, social media management, event organization, PR, modelling, etc.

 
About you:

  • Passionate about fashion and have an eye for what is going to be on trend next season.
  • Positive and keen to experience as much as possible of this industry and embrace it 360°.
  • Proactive person who can be both part of a team and also carrying out tasks independently.
  • Not afraid to take initiatives and bring your ideas and suggestions on the table while contacting designers.
  • Organized and methodical in keeping track of your progresses.
  • Excellent in costumer service when dealing with current and potential clients, showing patience and resolution at the same time.

What you will learn / we will teach you:

  • In depth understanding of CRM marketing and CRM systems such as Insightly and email marketing tools
  • Understanding of the Fashion event industry and the event planning processes from concept to execution 
  • Practical knowledge of account management and personal contact with fashion designers 
  • Boosting communication skills by interacting with potential clients and learning about effective selling techniques
  • Practical knowledge of events sponsorships and PR practices
