We are offering a PR Student Work Placement opportunity for Students seeking an industry placement as part of their course to gain PR experience at a progressive, global heritage brand.  Whilst undertaknig your placement you'll be based in our busy press office, which manages the global PR for the brand from our London headquarters.  We are very flexible on dates as a position is currently available.  With no two days the same, the candiate will learn the below skills and be given an insight into a functioning PR department as well as a view into an overall business.

What you will be doing:

  • Assisting with daily send outs alongside the PR Executive
  • Assisting with digital influencer discovery alongside the PR Executive
  • Editorial clippings online and in print media 
  • Sample & showroom assistance 
  • Regular learning development meetings whereby we teach and explain various Public Relations skills
  • Opportunity to visit different areas of the business such as design or social media

What you will learn / we will teach you:

  • How to communicate and present product to editors and stylists effectively. Learn skills such as the creation of mailers and product pitches
  • The use and implimentation of Fashion GPS with regards to sample send outs and contact database - this is a commonaly used software in PR departments and a fantastic skill to learn 
  • We will allow time for you to research publications and investigate into their aesthetic, along with teaching you relevant information about them
  • You will learn how to manage documents such as send out charts with the help of the PR Coordinators guidance 
  • Working on events allows you to see an exciting side to the industry, we will work alongside you with completing tasks for events such as VIP gifting
  • We will help explain and monitor the process of sample send outs, a key skill for entering PR which you will be taught and have the opportunity to take on as much responsibilty as you feel you can manage 

Please note all above tasks will be done along side or surpervised by both the PR Manager and PR Executive in order to help develop your experience and allow an oppotunity for feedback and learning.
