Lone Design Club is looking for a highly creative Content & Community Intern to help shape and grow the Lone Design Club brand across social media.

Working directly alongside our Social Media Coordinator, Founder, Chief of Staff and wider marketing team, the successful applicant will create content that showcases our community, celebrates the brands we work with and documents the journey of building one of the UK's most exciting retail businesses.

This is not a traditional marketing intern-level role – the Content & Community Intern will have genuine creative ownership from day one, helping define how Lone Design Club shows up across Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn through beautiful content, compelling storytelling and authentic community building.  From filming behind-the-scenes at pop-up launches and retail activations to interviewing founders, creating trend-led content and producing social-first campaigns, the Intern will play a key role in growing our audience and bringing our brand to life.  We're looking for someone who is enthralled with content, naturally creative, has exceptional taste and understands how to create social media that people genuinely want to watch, save and share.

Responsibilities of the Content & Community Intern

Content Creation:

• Plan, create, film and edit engaging social-first content across Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.
• Capture behind-the-scenes content across the business, including retail launches, brand activations, events and founder moments.
• Produce short-form video content including Reels, TikToks and founder-led content.
• Create photography, graphics and visual assets for social media.
• Help build a library of high-quality brand imagery and video content.

Social Media:

• Support the planning and execution of the social media content calendar.
• Schedule and publish content across multiple platforms.
• Write engaging captions aligned with the Lone Design Club tone of voice.
• Track content performance and identify opportunities to improve reach and engagement.
• Stay ahead of platform updates, trends and emerging content formats.

Community Building:

• Help grow and engage the Lone Design Club community across social media.
• Support conversations with brands, founders, creators and partners.
• Identify opportunities for collaborations, user-generated content and community storytelling.
• Help create campaigns that strengthen our community and increase engagement.

Brand & Creative:

• Help maintain a premium and consistent visual identity across every platform.
• Research fashion, retail and social media trends to inspire new ideas.
• Contribute creative ideas for campaigns, launches and content series.
• Monitor leading fashion, lifestyle and luxury brands for inspiration and best practice.
• Ensure all content reflects the Lone Design Club aesthetic and brand values.

Events & Experiences:

• Attend retail launches, networking events, pop-ups and community events to capture live content.
• Create real-time social media coverage during launches and activations.
• Support campaign shoots and content creation days.

• Exceptional taste, a strong visual eye and instinctively know what makes content feel premium, aspirational and engaging.
• You're always spotting trends before everyone else, saving inspiration, discovering new brands and thinking about how content could be better.
• Most importantly—you love creating content.
• Passionate about fashion, retail, luxury brands, design and culture.
• Confident filming high-quality content on an iPhone or camera.
• Highly skilled at editing short-form video for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
• Experienced using editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive, enthusiastic and excited to take ownership.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
