We are currently offering a Student Work Placement for a student undertaking their industry work placement to join the revolution against the norm.  Working in a busy fast moving production team, to provide the best festival fashion wear. The applicant must be in a UK-based further or higher education to be accepted onto this role.
 
Our team are focussed at working together to continue the strong growth of the business, while enjoying being in the working environment. Bottle Blonde is looking for someone who is adaptable to fast environments, and wants to develop their skills within the fashion industry. This placement offers great responsibility from day one, will provide a great opportunity to understand how a small, fast growing independent fashion label operates.
 
Join the revolution while we make custom orders for clients and celebrities in our fun filled tinsel world. The role requires the applicant to complete several tasks daily, due to this role being a varied role no day will be the same and this means the applicant must be adaptable.
 
What you will be doing:

  • Cutting out fabric
  • Garment construction
  • Assisting with tinsel manipulation
  • Daily duties such as packaging and posting orders to the customers
  • Working on custom orders for clients
  • Working on custom orders for our celebrity customers
  • Assisting on photoshoots when required
  • Running errands

What you will learn / we will teach you:

  • Pattern cutting and Garment construction, working with a range of different and unusual materials not normally used in the fashion industry.
  • Making custom garments for our celebrity clients under tight deadlines and making garments for PR event and magazine submissions.
  • Helping with the day to day running of the business such as running errands, posting orders, printing orders, emailing clients and customers.
  • Cutting out and making orders for our customers, you'd be working with a range of fabrics such as jersey, tinsel, sequins and you'll learn how to manipulate those fabrics and will make garments with them.
  • You will be working with a team of like minded creatives and you gain understanding on how a small fashion business runs and expands.
  • You will learn the direct link between social media and a small business and how social media influences sales.
