If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a Summer Intern to join our team for two days a week over the course of one month in St John’s Wood, London.
While the tasks may not always be glamorous, you'll be part of a fun and relaxed team. In return for your work, you’ll gain invaluable experience in the inner workings of building a fashion brand from the ground up. You'll enjoy the thrill of seeing your work make a difference, from perfectly styled product pages to celebrating when new orders roll in. These are all experiences you can proudly add to your CV, giving you an edge in future applications. With potential to stay on permanently with us.
As our intern, you'll assist with a variety of tasks tailored to your skills and abilities, including:
- Resizing product images for our website (Photoshop skills required).
- Writing and uploading product details to Shopify
- Designing product page layouts and implementing them in Shopify
- Uploading product images to our Shopify and Faire platform.
- Potentially taking new product shots as new items arrive.
- Beautifully packing new orders.
- Creating marketing flyers for tradeshows, with InDesign (InDesign skills required).
- Conducting stock counts and organising boxes.
What Shaku is looking for:
- Graduated from university
- Aged at least 18 years of age.
- Proficient with Photoshop and InDesign
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Ability to think critically and follow instructions accurately.
- A passion for fashion!
- Confident and effective communicator.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
