Givenchy has an exciting opportunity for a PR Coordinator to work across the brands fragrances, makeup and skincare pillars to support the Head of PR.

Main responsibilities will be to ensure the excellent day-to-day running of the press departments. The PR Coordinator will maintain and cultivate key media and influencer relationships keeping Givenchy at the forefront of their minds within the industry, marketplace and community to increase brand awareness, affinity and ultimately drive sales and maximise business performance. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of PR in achieving the department’s key objectives with Press & Influencer activations, whilst organising press events, trips, press & influencer meetings
  • Be the key point of contact for internal and global teams providing responses quickly and efficiently and for all journalists’ requests
  • Responsible for the PR sections of the newsletter, monthly reports and KPI reporting as well as ad hoc PR input into the Givenchy Facebook group relevant coverage etc
  • Responsible for the management and execution of all NPD launches to the appropriate audience ensuring these are actioned to meet relevant lead times
  • Oversee and update the contact databases for press and influencers on a regular basis
  • Manage all press cuttings in terms of collation, presentation and distribution internally and to the International Team in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Control press product cupboard stock and efficiently order stock for launches and send-outs as well as managing this arrival of this stock
  • Management of pre-series orders and the delivery dates liaising with relevant marketing team members to ensure the on time and accurate delivery
  • Responsible for the PR sections of the newsletter, monthly reports and KPI reporting as well as ad hoc PR input into the Givenchy Facebook group relevant coverage etc
  • Manage relationships will all beauty inters/assistants from all DMR titles to ensure Givenchy SOV
  • Deliver excellent media placements for new product launches as well as core products and brand building features across all media outlets
  • Strengthen online and social visibility by pitching stories and develop alternate methods of outreach using creative mindset and tools such as spokespersons or counter openings etc to maximise brand awareness
  • Work closely with Marketing, Online, Education, and Operational teams to organise assets and essential collateral to conduct local PR initiatives.
  • Manage the development of all public relations materials, including press releases, media alerts, newsletters, fact sheets, product launch recaps and presentations within agreed budget.
  • Track, monitor and analyse brand performance and publicity in media outlets; execute internal communication of media placements to Head of PR UK and Regional HQ teams. Utilising DMR & Tribe data analysis tools
  • Manage and lead the regional PR activations alongside Claire Mulleady, developing new and experience led launches to engage local media and drive regional awareness including all new counter openings

Profile:

  • 2 years' relevant PR experience (preferably Beauty industry)
  • A passion for PR and a love of the media
  • Experience with luxury beauty brand preferred
