We are looking for an ambitious Brand Marketing Executive to join the well-established Footasylum Marketing team. In this role you’ll be front & centre, bringing both our internal brands such as Monterrain & third-party brands such as Nike & Adidas to life across every marketing touchpoint. From campaign strategies & briefing disruptive creative concepts to managing budgets & owning full campaign rollouts.

The Team

The brand marketing team functions as a part of the larger marketing department and we work extremely closely with creative, ecomm and the studio team to bring brands/campaigns to market, in line with the individual consumer groups.

Reporting into the Brand Marketing Manager, you will have weekly meetings to discuss ongoing workload and goal setting.

Our goal is to create an environment in which you can learn new skills, gain experience in existing ones and improve your knowledge of the consumer continually. You will be supported in your journey and will be pushed to take on new challenges and expand your knowledge of the brand marketing team.

Responsibilities of the Brand Marketing Executive:

  • Support Internal & Partner Brands
  • Help execute day-to-day marketing plans for our own brands alongside major third-party brands, catering to our different consumer groups.
  • Assisting in taking campaigns from concept to launch, drafting creative briefs and updating project timelines.
  • Tracking budgets & following the GTM process.
  • Collaborating across Buying, Merchandising, E-commerce, Studio & Retail to help make sure launches run smoothly.
  • Reporting into the Brand Marketing Manager to review tasks & goals, with opportunities in quarterly meetings to learn more about the broader strategy.

What Footasylum is looking for:

  • Relevant level of experience and background.
  • A high level of organisation, communication and creative flair.
  • Knowledge of different consumers is vital, with trends, cultural moments, and social media also key.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Good knowledge of UK culture, e.g music, gaming, internet, etc.
  • Good knowledge of fashion culture and Footasylum consumers.
  • Solid understanding of Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience working in retail or brand would be a plus.

Why Footasylum?

We are one of the UK’s leading omni channel retailers, but as well as that, we’re a genuinely great place to work. We value you and your development. Our people across the business have taken on new opportunities, whether that’s stepping into a new role, moving into a different department, or building new skills through the support and training we offer. Our goal is to create a fun, supportive environment where your success matters just as much as ours, and where you have the tools, encouragement, and opportunities to achieve your goals.

Diversity

We recognise and value the importance of diversity to help make sure we have a diverse perspective when we are building services to customers and the wider business. This is great news for us. But for us, diversity is also about, building happy energised teams full of people who want to learn and want to be inspired by each other's different backgrounds and experiences.

Recruitment Process

We review applications on an individual basis, and if we feel you would be a good fit we’ll invite you for a call or Teams video for an informal chat about the role, and to see if we’re a good fit for you.

We value open and honest conversations and collaboration, giving you a chance to learn about what we are doing in an informal and friendly environment. We want to know about you and why you feel that this is the opportunity for you. Please note, this is not a remote role and our expectation is that you will be able to attend Head Office in a hybrid way, in Greater Manchester.
