A new and exciting opportunity for a Branded Accessories Designer to become part of a talented creative team working for a leading importer of fashion accessories within a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

  • Produce new and creative product design ideas.
  • Work to design instructions.
  • Attend customer meetings with Account Manager.
  • Complete new product briefs given by the Director.
  • Designing products from initial sketches/technical drawings.
  • Sample management.
  • Working to tight deadlines.
  • Attend trade shows when needed.
  • Research the market and other competition for new ideas.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year's experience in a similar role.
  • Degree in Product Design or equivalent.
  • Experience working with gifts/accessories.
  • Experience in spec drawing.
  • Examples of own designed products.
  • Excellent knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in teams.
