Koibird is looking for a talented, creative freelance Content Creator to join the team in Marylebone, London, working with the Social Media Manager and wider creative team to produce fresh, engaging and culturally relevant content across our luxury fashion brand, KOIBIRD, and our in-house wellness café, KOI11.

This is an exciting opportunity for a visually driven content creator who understands social media, has a strong eye for aesthetics and can translate creative briefs into compelling, social-first content.  Suitable applicants will be confident shooting, editing and conceptualising content for Instagram and TikTok, with a genuine understanding of current trends and what makes content perform.

Key Responsibilities of the Content Creator

Content Creation & Production:

• Create engaging, high-quality content from creative briefs across KOIBIRD and KOI11.
• Conceptualise, shoot and edit social-first content for Instagram and TikTok.
• Develop fresh, fun and culturally relevant content that reflects the identity of each brand.
• Produce a variety of content formats, including short-form video, Reels, TikToks, photography and other social assets.
• Bring creative ideas and concepts to life while maintaining a strong visual identity and consistent brand standards.
• Ensure content is visually compelling, on-brand and optimised for each social platform.

Creative Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Social Media Manager on content ideas, creative concepts and execution.
• Collaborate with the wider creative team to support social media campaigns, launches and ongoing content initiatives.
• Contribute creative input during brainstorming, planning and content development.
• Work from briefs while bringing your own creative perspective and ideas to the role.
• Support the delivery of a consistent and engaging social presence across both brands.

Social Media & Trends:

• Maintain a strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok, including platform-specific content formats and best practices.
• Stay up to date with cultural moments, emerging trends and relevant social media conversations.
• Understand what makes content engaging and how creative execution can support reach, engagement and overall performance.
• Create content that feels current, relevant and native to the platforms it is designed for.
• Apply an understanding of social media performance to inform creative decisions.

What Koibird is looking for…

Essential:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience creating content for Instagram and TikTok, including shooting and editing social-first content.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating previous content creation work.
• Experience shooting and editing social-first content.
• Strong visual storytelling and creative conceptualisation skills.
• A good understanding of social media trends and content performance.
• Ability to commute to Marylebone, London, twice per week.

Desirable:

• Experience working within the fashion, beauty, lifestyle or wellness industries.
• Experience creating content for luxury or premium brands.
• Experience working collaboratively within a creative or social media team.
• A strong understanding of brand identity and visual direction.

Working Arrangement

This is a freelance position working alongside the Social Media Manager as part of the wider creative team. The successful candidate will be required to work from our Marylebone office one to two days per week.

The role will involve collaborating closely with the existing team to support content planning, production and delivery across KOIBIRD and KOI11.
