The UK Ecommerce team is seeking a creative digital professional with a passion for creating exciting and engaging content for its audience. This digital marketer must have experience of putting social & influencers at the heart of content marketing plans and must possess a proven record of successful content campaigns. Digital, influencers & social are the crux of this brands marketing strategy, so experience having worked in or alongside these areas is essential.
Always keeping the customer and the brand values and ethos at the forefront of your plans and decisions, you will take responsibility for implementing and developing on brand Ecommerce content with an eye for creative, design, copy and concept development.
Content Manager - The Role:
Manage a team of 2
Responsible for the brands Ecommerce & Social content strategy, working alongside our Marketing, PR and Social teams to ensure we have the right content across all platforms.
Measuring performance of content to ensure we continue to evolve our execution.
Managing the Global content & creative budget, negotiating to get the best value and monthly budgeting phasing for our finance department.
Execute and plan content A/B tests to ensure consistent test and learning for business optimisation
Understand content metrics and evaluate and iterate them based on results.
Day-to-day content checking, creation and updating of product and category pages
Build and maintain strong working relationships with digital marketing, social and Ecommerce teams who are involved with content projects
Prepare creative briefs for local graphic design team in preparation for promotions and campaign launches as well as ideas for social and campaign shoots.
Adopt marketing tactics to optimise better ROI at every point of conversion
Continually monitor, evaluate & recommend new innovations and opportunities on platforms
Monitor and share industry trends, best practice and competitor activity relevant to Ecommerce and content marketing
Manage test & learn agenda to identify new opportunities, ensuring clear goals against key activities & knowledge share
Event Management along with the Social Media Manager and PR team
Shoot, creative and art direction on social and campaign shoots
Content Manager - The Person:
Management skills, being able to delegate and lead
Challenge & Influencing Skills – experienced & effective at influencing and challenging senior internal stakeholders and agencies.
Strong presentation skills – comfortable presenting internally / externally to all levels
A hungry and ambitious individual, with an unstoppable drive to succeed
An eye for detail, with a creative vision when it comes to content, social and marketing
Previous experience in managing Ecommerce content strategy and implementation
Strong analytical skills, able to establish relevant KPIs & commercial goals. Being able to see beyond the data and tell a story through insights
Excellent collaboration skills – this is a cross functional role within many teams
Aptitude to learn fast, to absorb and integrate new facts and methodologies into normal operating process.
