About: The Catherine Walker & Co design atelier is based in Bury Walk, a pretty Chelsea mews where seven large studios are run on Parisian lines with separate workrooms devoted to tailoring, dressmaking and with addition skilled craftsmen and women employed for embroidery.

Catherine Walker is looking for a full-time experienced Pattern Cutter to join the team in Chelsea, London.

What Catherine Walker is looking for:

  • A minimum of 6 years' pattern cutting experience, specialising in tailoring and dressmaking bespoke fashion
  • Able to interpret a design sketch and produce an accurate, clean pattern
  • Able to work from a set of individual body measurements and produce an accurate clean pattern from a sample size block of the design
  • Willing to sign a confidentiality agreement regarding work undertaken
  • Experience as a luxury dressmaker/tailor
