About: L’Estrange is a direct to consumer menswear brand with a mission to challenge conventions about the way we consume. Our modular clothing system comprises comfortable, easy-to-pair, versatile pieces designed to be worn in any setting. Fewer clothes means fewer decisions, less impact on the planet and more time to focus on what’s important.  The brand has been championed by major publications including Vogue, GQ, Esquire, Monocle, Business of Fashion, the Telegraph and The Times, who named us “the new smart casual”.

The business has been on a fast growth trajectory since becoming direct-to-consumer in 2017 - growing more than 10x.  We have a strong vision for the future of menswear, and how the fashion industry needs to move beyond the seasonal collection model which fuels overconsumption, and we’re growing a team of like minds to join us on this mission.

We are on the hunt for a super-creative to join the team at L’Estrange London and develop our creative direction and create engaging content that will inspire people around the world to build a smarter wardrobe and reduce their consumption habits.  The role will work directly with founders Tom and Will with marketing team support. It will involve working across a range of formats and channels from paid social to email.

The role will include but not be limited to:

Creative Strategy 

  • Developing creative and brand strategy from concept to production, acting as a brand guardian for L’Estrange.
  • Marketing campaign creative and content creation
  • Planning and creating innovative content and narratives across all our channels including paid media, social, email and print. This will range from regular brand touch points to larger quarterly campaigns.

Content Production

  • Sourcing and working alongside art directors, photographers and videographers on key hero shoots as well as more adhoc guerrilla shoots.
  • This is an opportunity to help shape the creative strategy for L'Estrange and help build a team of world-class talent around it.

Requirements:

  • Creative vision with a track record of creating engaging content (with a digital focus) 
  • Excellent copywriting skills - writing, editing and tone of voice  
  • Strong visual identity with art direction experience 
  • Strong skill to juggle multiple projects and work to deadlines
  • Comfortable with Adobe suite should it be required 

Bonus:

  • Creative contacts/potential collaborators such as art directors/photographers
  • Experience growing an audience across different marketing platforms
  • Hard Video/photography skills
