Overview 

Our Design Admin Assistant provides strong administrative support to the Women's Wear Design team as well as design-based tasks. Reporting into a Senior Designer, they work collaboratively across the design departments, including with the other Design Admin Assistants and the wider team. You will be an integral part of the team. Strong relationships will be built with buying counterparts, too.

All tasks will be approached with positivity and resilience, and being a team player is a must. Our Boden values will be reflected in all areas of work, as well as an understanding and affinity with the Boden core customer.

Hybrid working at Boden

4-5 days per week at our North Acton office, the rest WFH.

What the Design Admin Assistant will do:

• PLM management, including uploading of tech packs/artworks, colours, setting up of BOMs, and training new team members where necessary.
• Email and supplier correspondence.
• Sample management from brought-to-development samples.
• Approval of trims, strike-offs, artworks & lab dips.
• CP management.
• Ensure design and creative areas are kept presentable and tidy.
• Colour palette work, including creating colour palettes, ordering colours and colour management processes.
• Support the teams setting up seasonal Miro boards, building garment range boards, keeping boards updated during the creative process, and archiving at the end of each design block.
• Sketch into samples/shapes/prints/logos, dropping in print where directed.
• Embroidery & artwork packs.
• Research into competitors and inspirational brands.
• Meeting prep: before internal meetings, be on hand to help set up rooms with printouts and/or samples.
• Accurate note-taking in meetings.
• Design tracker management.
• Organising the copyright process.

• A BA Hons Fashion Design/Print/Illustration/Textiles Degree is a plus
• PLM experience is a plus
• Relevant intern-level experience is a plus
