This role will give a great start to an eCommerce career, giving the opportunity to gain understanding across a wide range of eCommerce practices, from content management, online trading, merchandising, data analysis, 3rd party plug ins and website development and testing.

Reporting into the Senior Ecommerce Executive this role will be responsible for supporting the ecommerce team in all operational and production aspects of the business, ensuring all digital activities run smoothly and supporting administrative processes are followed and delivered appropriately according to the critical path.

It will involve working with all the department functions including marketing, content, merchandising and web development to understand individual requirements and then co-ordinate and prioritise workflows to ensure the smooth completion of deliverables.

At its core this role will be to support across a broad range of eCommerce projects to ensure smooth running of the global Hunter websites.

The key responsibilities of this role are:

eCommerce Content & SEO:

  • Co-ordinating with internal teams to upload product catalogue data including, meta data and product attributes, whilst optimising for the best customer journey
  • Creating SEO relevant copy for site product and category descriptions
  • Website content updates across global websites (Homepage, landing pages, and "Discover" brand content sections)
  • Optimise on-site search, as well as the cross-/up-sell product recommendations on the site
  • Liaising with content, marketing and merchandise teams to visually merchandise categories based on performance and planned activity
  • eCommerce photography process management to ensure product images are delivered on time to Hunter standards

Website Platform & Project Support:

  • Management of website plug ins for reviews, cross-border logistics, content management, and on-site merchandising
  • Supporting the website product team with roadmap development and testing
  • Support for cross-functional projects (working closely with Finance, Customer Service & Logistics teams)
  • Support on AB Testing roadmap, planning and execution of tests with the help of agency
  • Completing all general administration tasks and ad hoc business projects as directed
  • Supporting with weekly bug testing and the testing of new functionality on the sites.
  • Producing reports and insights from reviewing session replays within the customer experience analytics software
  • Creating and updating promotions in line with trading requirements

 
eCommerce Profitability:

  • Customer review analysis and taking any actions from customer ratings and reviews reports for amending on site content
  • Customer returns analysis and updating the product information on the website accordingly
  • Building and maintaining a robust purchase order management system including raising purchase orders and monitoring approvals
  • Assisting with the setup and maintenance of all 3rd party suppliers and providers
  • Assisting with reporting on sales, key metrics and promotions involving proactively working with other team functions including content and merchandising teams

 
The nuts and bolts

This role will be part of our global ecommerce team, based in our London office, reporting into the eCommerce Content Manager.

The Person:

  • Applicants for this role will have some experience in a digital background or a relevant Business, Marketing or Technology focussed degree
  • Experience within the fashion retail sector is preferable but not essential
  • Experience with analytics, reporting, and data analysis desired but not essential
  • Basic excel skills are a must, along with an ability to work cross-functionally and support key contacts within the business
  • An interest and understanding of fashion and brand retail along with a proactive approach that incorporates initiative are key
  • A personal attribute also would include a genuine willingness and eagerness to learn and support the various functions of the team and build experience within the ecommerce industry
  • 2nd European language preferable but not essential
