Needle & Thread works with a number of the best retailers globally, including Liberty, Harrods, Net-A-Porter, Shopbop, Moda Operandi, Nordstrom, Revolve, Lane Crawford and Neiman Marcus, amongst others.

The brand has evolved considerably since launch with the introduction of solid wovens, beautiful draped jersey, high-resolution prints, soft, premium leathers and knitwear to sit alongside signature surface decorated pieces.

Needle & Thread launched it's own eommerce platform in September 2015.

Needle & Thread has an excellent opportunity to join a small and dynamic Digital team.  The successful applicant will support all aspects of site maintenance, administration, trade performance and optimisation of the Needle & Thread website in-line with the brand vision and strategy. 

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Supporting the eCommerce Manager with executing the eCommerce strategy and ensuring the department is meeting KPIs.  
  • Supporting the day-to-day management of the Junior eCommerce Coordinator.
  • Assisting with the production of all trade documents for Senior Management on a weekly basis, generating reports using Google Analytics. 
  • Supporting all product and lookbook launches and content updates across our global eCommerce channels in-line with our content calendar.  Ensuring all assets are delivered, uploaded and optimised. 
  • Supporting with merchandising the website according to trade, stock levels, time in the season, launch dates and the company's critical path.  
  • Assisting with the day-to-day running of the websites, including updating information and maintaining the optimisation of the brand’s eCommerce platform.
  • Site maintenance and hygiene; regularly checking copy, testing links and raising tickets with our external agency for any site fixes. 
  • Attending in-house product training and supporting eCommerce Manager with writing product descriptions for each seasonal collection.
  • Coordinating brand sign-off between the various departments with regard to visual assets and ensuring assets are received in a timely manner, in line with the critical path. 
  • Ensuring all onsite content is up to date, including but not limited to blog posts, product imagery, homepage assets, Facebook and Pinterest albums etc.
  • Generating, testing and updating all promotional codes. 
  • Working closely with the Customer Care team and assisting with any customer issues where required. 
  • Keeping up to date with eCommerce trends and user journeys to constantly provide ideas to optimise customer experience.
  • Completing weekly site walks and making recommendations for improvement to onsite journey. 
  • Working closely with our external agency and website developers to ensure the smooth running of the website. 
  • Supporting with the generation of weekly reports using Google Analytics and preparing results to share with Management.
  • Undertaking all diary management for the eCommerce team.
  • Supporting all administration for the eCommerce team.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within an office environment.
  • Strong understanding of all key digital channels and their importance to a fashion business
  • Sound analytical skills, highly organised, responsible, able to multitask and work effectively and calmly under pressure. 
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. 
  • Commercially minded, digitally savvy. 
  • Friendly and personable, with a can-do and consistent attitude.
  • Comfortable using an Apple Mac computer.

Beneficial:

  • Use of Shopify Plus, Klaviyo and Google Analytics would be advantageous but not essential
