As we grow, we’re expanding into new product categories that reflect our brand world and community — from luxury nightwear to modern bridal-inspired ready-to-wear.  We’re looking for a talented, experienced fashion designer–developer to collaborate with our founder and operations team on the next phase of Gigi & Olive’s product evolution.

This role will lead the design and development of a new premium apparel line for the brand, starting with luxury bridal nightwear and expanding into bride and bridal party ready-to-wear. The ideal candidate will blend creative flair with strong technical knowledge, able to turn an idea into a beautifully made, commercially viable product.

Location: London (in-person fittings and sample reviews required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Create design concepts and sketches in line with the Gigi & Olive aesthetic and brand direction
• Produce detailed tech packs and technical drawings for sampling and production
• Advise on fabric selection, trims, and finishing for premium quality
• Manage fittings and sample reviews in person in London, ensuring the highest standard of construction and fit
• Work closely with our operations team and production partners to refine samples and prepare for production
• Ensure designs meet both creative and commercial objectives
• Collaborate with internal and external partners, including manufacturers and suppliers

Requirements:

• We’re looking for someone dynamic and entrepreneurial — a designer who’s as passionate about luxury craftsmanship as they are about building a brand.
• At least 3 years' fashion design, product development, or garment technology experience
• Proven ability to create both design concepts and detailed technical specifications
• Strong understanding of pattern cutting, garment construction, and fit
• Experience managing the sampling process with factories or ateliers
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• A refined, modern aesthetic aligned with Gigi & Olive’s brand values
• Based in London or able to attend fittings and sample reviews in person

Nice to Have:

• Experience in small-batch production or emerging luxury brands
• Familiarity with embroidery or personalised detailing
• Fashion design, product development, or garment technology experience in bridalwear, nightwear, or womenswear
