An opportunity has arisen to join British Vogue’s fashion department.

The world’s most iconic fashion publication is seeking a Fashion Production Coordinator to help organise the day-to-day operations of the fashion department. The role calls for an energetic, organised fashion professional who can excel in a broad range of tasks including organising general shoot logistics, scheduling assistants and ensuring clear communication across the team. He/she will also help ensure the smooth running of the British Vogue fashion cupboard and related administration, such as the shoot calendar.

The ideal candidate will have a background in fashion production and assisting and will work closely with the Fashion Bookings Director on producing shoots, from providing back-up support with travel and transport logistics or liaising with external stylists and photographers on assistant allocation.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To assist with the organisation of the fashion shoot schedule, helping to allocate appropriate resource and personnel to stories
  • To co-ordinate the day-to-day running of the fashion department, working closely with the Fashion Bookings Director, Fashion Market Director and Style Director to ensure clear communication across the team
  • To assist the Fashion Bookings Director on shoot production, particularly during absences
  • To oversee the smooth running of the Vogue fashion cupboard
  • To assist with the logistics organisation of the fashion shows schedule, in particular travel and accommodation.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • First-class organisation and administration skills and a razor-sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent communications skills and an ability to work with team members of all levels
  • Ability to keep a cool head and lead a team when working to tight, shifting deadlines
  • Experience of liaising with photographers, stylists and hair and make-up artists and their agents, as well as studios and location reps
  • A degree-level education is preferable but not essential.
