Olympia International is looking for a highly organised Fashion Sample & Data Assistant for a two-week project to help us create a complete digital and physical archive of the clothing samples held in our Camden office.

This is a practical, office-based project suited to someone interested in fashion buying, merchandising, product development, fashion operations or ecommerce.  There may be opportunities for future part-time work for someone who performs exceptionally well.

What the Fashion Sample & Data Assistant will be doing:

• Working with our product and brand team, you will:
• Sort and organise menswear samples across several brands
• Record style numbers, descriptions, colours, sizes, categories and seasons
• Photograph samples clearly and consistently
• Upload product information and images into our SPY product-management system
• Assign and record each sample’s physical location
• Identify duplicate, obsolete or unidentified samples
• Flag missing information for the relevant team member
• Maintain an accurate project-tracking spreadsheet
• Complete a final reconciliation between the physical samples and SPY
• Full guidance on our brands, systems and required archive format will be provided.

What Olympia International is looking for:

• Highly organised, methodical and attentive to detail
• Confident using Excel or Google Sheets
• Comfortable learning new software quickly
• Interested in fashion products and able to distinguish garment categories, colours and details
• Comfortable photographing, handling and physically organising clothing samples
• Reliable and able to work independently once trained
• Available to work from our Camden office during the project
• Office or fashion-industry experience is not required – we are more interested in accuracy, attitude and organisation.
