A fantastic opportunity for a Garment Technologist to join an established ladieswear supplier.
 
The Role:

  • Responsible for achieving all technical Critical Path dates.
  • Check the grading that is returned from the external grader (on Vetigraph)
  • Have a good understanding of grading
  • Make any small amendments to the grading that may be necessary on Vetigraph
  • Managing when the fit samples need to be sent to the Production Manager to work inline with the critical path.
  • Managing gold seals alongside the Assistant Garment Tech.
  • Check sealers with the Production Pattern Cutter
  • Measuring samples
  • Liaising with factories

 
 Skills Required:

  • MUST have 2 years experience in a garment technology role
  • Experienced in the use of MS office, particularly MS Word & Excel.
  • Previous experience of pattern development / grading.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent planning/organising skills.
  • Can work on own initiative.
  • Can build relationships easily.
  • Attention to detail skills.
