People Marketing has an immediately available opportunity to join one of Europe’s leading suppliers of high-quality corporate, promotional and sportswear, as a Garment Technologist/QC on an initial 6-month contract in Castle Donington.

Working closely with the Product Manager, the Garment Technologist will provide technical support and advice across the product development and marketing teams, with a particular focus on product compliance and the Product DNA project.

Garment Technologist – Key Responsibilities:

• Acting as the main point of contact for the Product DNA packaging and relabelling project, ensuring the business is prepared for Digital Product Passports (DPP).
• Creating and approving label artwork.
• Ensuring factory audits and garment compliance documentation are up to date.
• Assisting with garment testing, wash testing and fit samples.
• Supporting garment fitting and sealing alongside the Product Manager.
• Undertaking industry research and stock tracking.
• Proofreading brochures, marketing materials, website content and distributor documentation.
• Maintaining and updating product sheets.
• Providing general administrative support to the apparel design and development team, including holiday cover for the QC function.

Garment Technologist – The Person:

• Experience within the role of garment technologist/ product developer with apparel, fashion or textiles experience.
• Highly organised, detail-focused and proactive.
• Excellent administrative and communication skills.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Knowledge of fabric testing, quality and compliance would be advantageous.
