About: Janis Museum is a high-end fashion label based in the heart of London, inspired by 1970s style and culture.

Every piece is designed and made in London by a small studio team that works directly alongside the designer.

The brand reimagines 1970s silhouettes, fluid tailoring, bold prints, and effortless glamour using natural, high-quality fabrics with a luxury high-end finish.

Collections balance nostalgia with contemporary cuts, creating refined, wearable pieces for the modern or creative professional who loves the 1970s era.

Janis Museum focuses on meticulous craftsmanship, limited production, and thoughtful design rather than fast-fashion trends.

The studio environment is collaborative and hands-on, with an emphasis on quality, detail, and a distinctly London perspective. As an independent label, Janis Museum brings a considered, international approach while staying rooted in the city’s creative energy.

Janis Museum is a Made in London, high-end brand with a 70s soul. Think silky shirts, sharp wool tailoring, and pieces made to last.  It’s a small studio, good music, proper coffee, and real luxury fabrics on the table, not a factory line.

The Vibe / The Role:

Come and be part of building our next collections. The successful applicant will be machining samples and small runs, working closely with the designer, and seeing your work go from table to finished garment.  No massive production targets.  Just great work, great fabrics, and a team that actually cares about finish.

What Janis Museum is looking for:

  • At least 2 years' experience as a sample or high-end machinist
  • Confident with luxury fabrics, including silks, wool, viscose, linings, and structured 70s pieces
  • Obsessed with a clean finish and doing things properly
  • Up for a fun, small studio where your work is seen and valued

Why Janis Museum?

  • Made in London label with a real aesthetic, not fast fashion
  • Small team energy - you’re not a number here
  • Flexible start: 2-3 days/week now, grow with us into something permanent
  • Work on pieces you’re proud of - 70s-inspired luxury that ends up in wardrobes, not landfills
