Detail London, specialising in recruitment, has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, connectected Influencer Relations Manager to join our client, a leading beauty, wellbeing and lifestyle agency.

This specialist agency is internationally renowned and widely recognised as a key factor in the growth and success of many of the industry’s most significant new brands for over two decades, specialising in powerful brand building and impactful communications.  They are a hands-on, medium-sized agency, committed to supporting their clients with creative, pro-active and flexible campaigns over the long-term - an approach which is rarely mirrored by larger, less personal organisations.  This role is initially purely Influencer Relations and you should have a strong understanding of social media and channels.

Summary:

The Influencer Relations Manager will be an integral part of the team, working alongside the PR team to guide and implement influencer strategies.  You will have a proven track record of demonstrating exceptional knowledge and understanding of paid and earned influencer marketing, with a wide network of influencer contacts including but not limited to those creating content in the beauty, wellness and lifestyle sectors.  You will be passionate about the Social Media landscape, with knowledge of both current and emerging platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter etc.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Define earned and paid influencer strategies across the clients within the agency, aligning with the wider PR plans
  • Play a pivotal role in ensuring earned influencer coverage is secured and captured at scale, supporting and working closely with the wider team on all activity including mailings and events
  • Work closely with the PR team to commission, measure, reward and retain talent across the full influencer spectrum, with the ability to work efficiently to gain quick results when needed
  • Managing paid influencer partnerships across clients where needed, including budget management, influencer selection, outreach and negotiations, contracts, campaign management and reporting
  • Managing the agencies influencer database, including identifying new and upcoming content creators and influencers to partner with
  • Stay ahead of competitor developments, identifying opportunities and/or problems, and sharing examples of competitor activity with the wider team/clients where relevant
  • Maintain inbound influencer communications via email and direct message
  • Input into creative campaigns ideas and strategies across the agency
  • Reporting on paid campaigns you have managed and on earned influencer strategy as per client’s requirements
  • As a social native, you will be on social media regularly, and will capture and share coverage with the team including content tagged to social accounts
  • The day-to-day contact for clients, client relationships are key in this role
  • Where needed, you may be responsible for managing the social media channels (with a focus on Instagram) including content planning and posting, community management and channel growth

Requirements:

  • A genuine interest and understanding of the digital landscape with a focus on social media and influencer marketing
  • An excellent influencer network including but not limited to those in the beauty, lifestyle and wellness sectors
  • Experience in managing influencer campaigns with a wide range of objectives and KPIs
  • An understanding of how influencers can play a pivotal role in brand growth
  • Knowledge of both current and emerging platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter etc.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation and organisational skills
  • A strategic and analytical thinker that can interpret numbers and data into actionable insights and learnings
  • Experience using influencer tracking tools is desirable but not essential
  • Experience running Social Media accounts including strategy, content planning and posting, community management and channel growth, analytics and reporting is desirable but not essential
  • Experience with image and video editing / design software ie. Photoshop, Premier Pro and/or In-Design is desirable but not essential
  • Experience working in an agency environment and the ability to work under pressure, and to be reactive and flexible in a fast-paced environment
