Here at Phase Eight we’re seeking a Junior Digital Designer to work with our creative team on all digital creative output of the Phase Eight brand along with our sister brands, Studio 8 and Damsel in a Dress.
Working in partnership with our team of digital designers the Junior Digital Designer will support on a wide variety of digital design projects, producing visually compelling assets and content for use across our websites and ecommerce marketing channels.
As a Junior Digital Designer key responsibilities will include;
Working with the creative team on a variety of design and artworking briefs, producing campaign banners, content pages, weekly homepage updates, emails, social and editorial assets
Developing commercially considered designs that respond beautifully to all devices across mobile, tablet and desktop demonstrating a user centric approach
Creating brand assets for affiliate partners and bricks and mortar stores, working in partnership with our marketing, social and trading teams
Continual analysis of competitor activity, suggesting new design concepts and ideas for our business as well as key market trends
Desired skills and experience:
Proven knowledge and experience of working in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Excellent typographic, layout and visual sensibility as demonstrated within a portfolio of work
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple digital design projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment
Pixel perfect attention to detail, executing projects across digital and print channels from concept to completion
Basic knowledge of After Effects, HTML and CSS would be beneficial although not essential
