The role of Junior Graphic Designer...

Aspiga is looking for a can-do, fast-learning, meticulous Junior Graphic Designer with excellent communication skills who lives and breathes creative design to work within the in-house Graphics team in London

We are looking for a candidate with an aptitude for AI and who is confident to trial new programs to improve creativity and speed up workflow where possible in order to bridge traditional design and modern AI-driven creations.

Responsibilities of the Junior Graphic Designer:

• Creating high-quality print assets, including but not limited to: Shop POS, lookbooks, product images, swing tags and promotional assets.
• AI image generation and image editing 
• Designing and producing the Aspiga Loves bi-monthly lifestyle magazine.
• Colour matching images, Photo shopping.
• Retouching, resizing and colour matching product images for use across our brand channels.

What Aspiga is looking for:

• At least 1 full year's experience in a fast-paced in-house graphics team,
• Demonstrable experience of graphic design with a proven portfolio of work across print and digital design
• Proficient with Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
• Experience working at a fast-paced start-up / small brand - ideally in fashion/interiors/lifestyle
• Good knowledge of photography - capable of handling a camera and retouching images
• Good knowledge of workload management tools, e.g. Monday, Slack
• Excellent communication skills - able to ask questions and use initiative
• Able to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines.
• Experience working with Shopify is a plus
• Video editing, photo editing, photography and copywriting skills are a plus
• Experience at a start-up / small brand is a plus
• Retail experience with an understanding of local store requirements is a plus
