Daniel Simmons is looking for a highly organised, proactive Junior Product Developer & Production Coordinator to support the Production team in the development and execution of seasonal collections in London.  This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of garment construction, product development, and production processes, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn. 

Key Responsibilities of the Junior Product Developer & Production Assistant:

• Support the department head throughout all stages of product development and production.
• Communicate feedback clearly and concisely 
• Manage and track samples
• Create and updating CADs
• Develop detailed tech packs for factories and suppliers 
• Assist with garment fittings
• Support the management of product development timelines
• Assist with quality control processes 
• Organise and manage swatches, samples, trims and knit downs from suppliers
• Assist in sourcing fabrics, yarns and trims
• Ensure samples meet requested specifications 

What Daniel Simmons is looking for:

• Degree in Fashion Design or a relevant course 
• A minimum of 1 year's experience in product development, garment production, or a similar role within the fashion industry
• Capacity to multitask and prioritise workload
• Proficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Google Suite, particularly Sheets
• Detail-oriented 
• Understanding of garment construction, manufacturing processes, and product development 
• Confidence creating CADs and tech packs
• Strong organisational skills are essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
• Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach to work.
• Available to work in our London office 5 days a week.
