Due to continued growth at this leading private label business, an opportunity for a trendy lead women's knitwear designer has arisen.

Reporting to the head of design and working closely with the wider team, the Knitwear Designer will be responsible for the design and execution of knitwear products for various leading and trend UK high street retailers.

Day to day, you will be:

• Researching the market via international shopping trips to remain aware of
• Implementing direction and innovation across technique/ colour/ shape
• creating on-trend, forward-thinking, yet commercial designs for the showroom and in response to briefs
• producing accurate and detailed CADs to present to buyers and technical packs for product development
• Presenting ranges to customers in person in a confident manner
• Communicating effectively with sourcing teams globally, including travel to factories
• Overseeing the development of sampling, ensuring deadlines are met.

Profile:

• A confident, tenacious, true knitwear designer
• Experience designing for the high street sector.
