Fashion Personnel has a new opportunity for a creative, commercially minded mid-level Knitwear Designer to support the development of trend-led, high-volume ranges for high street accounts.

Working closely with the Senior Designer and offshore manufacturers in South Asia, the Knitwear Designer will help deliver knitwear that balances style, quality, and price.

What the Knitwear Designer will be doing:

  • Design and develop seasonal knitwear ranges from brief to sample.
  • Create CADs, tech packs, and detailed specifications.
  • Translate trend research into commercially strong product.
  • Liaise with Bangladesh factories to ensure accurate sampling.
  • Conduct initial fit sessions and support buyer presentations.
  • Collaborate with technical and account teams to meet deadlines.

What Fashion Personnel is looking for:

  • At least 3 years' women's knitwear experience.
  • Strong knowledge of yarns, stitches, and knit construction.
  • Confident using Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.
  • Commercially aware with offshore supplier experience preferred.
  • Organised, proactive, and a strong communicator.
