Fashion Personnel has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Knitwear Designer to lead the development of trend-driven, commercially successful womenswear knitwear collections for key high street customers.

This role combines creative vision with strong technical expertise and close collaboration with UK and South Asia-based teams.

What the Senior Knitwear Designer will be doing:

• Lead seasonal knitwear range development from concept to approval.
• Translate trends, yarn innovation, and competitor research into commercial designs.
• Collaborate with overseas manufacturers to ensure quality, cost, and feasibility.
• Oversee technical packs, garment specs, and fittings.
• Present collections to buyers and senior management.
• Mentor junior designers and build strong supplier relationships.

What Fashion Personnel is looking for:

• At least 7 years' knitwear design experience
• Excellent technical knowledge of yarns, stitches, gauges, and construction.
• Strong commercial womenswear knitwear portfolio.
• Experience working with overseas factories.
• Confident communicator with leadership experience.
• Knitwear supplier or retail is a plus
