In the next 5 years we intend to further grow our research culture by focusing on our core strengths and expertise within our research themes of environment, social issues and policy, sport and exercise science, and media and culture, and our knowledge exchange priorities of maritime, sustainable business, social justice, health and wellbeing, student entrepreneurship, and engineering.

We would like to recruit a candidate who shares these research and knowledge exchange ambitions and can contribute to the research culture at Solent, joining our active research community. In your role, you will be supported to be involved in research, knowledge exchange and scholarly activity.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding candidate with extensive industry experience, and in delivering lectures within HE at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The successful applicant will have expertise in the fashion marketing, and so suit someone with solid experience in writing for a variety of audiences and platforms, experience of designing and executing campaigns, fashion influencer marketing, as well as having excellent industry contacts. The ability to lesson plan for seminars and deliver lectures in support of the academic aims of the school is essential. In this challenging educational environment, the ability to develop/update teaching material is also a requirement. You must be resourceful, self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, be a good team worker and able to demonstrate an aptitude to problem solve requests while dealing tactfully with students. The ability to work under pressure is essential.
