Sign of the Times is looking for a part-time Live Host to join the team in London.

Responsibilities:

• Working alongside our Trading, Store and Marketing teams, you will be responsible for going live twice per week on Sign of the Times’ Instagram and TikTok to sell products on our online store.
• You will use your luxury expertise to showcase handbags, shoes, accessories and clothing to our customers via our social media channels.
• You are expected to arrive early to prep the products and stay afterwards to put everything back.
• You will need to keep an eye on messages throughout the week to push through any sales and track sales from your live sessions.

Location: Chelsea store (occasionally this may move to our Battersea office, one of our John Lewis concessions, or a London pop-up location)
Hours: Wednesday (TBC) 4 pm–7 pm and Saturdays 8 am –11 am (subject to change based on trade and events plan)

Requirements:

• Luxury fashion experience & knowledge
• At least 3 years’ experience in a sales assistant, personal shopper, stylist or clienteling role in luxury fashion
• Experience presenting or featuring on social media
• Elevated and polished appearance aligned with our brand guidelines
• Excellent understanding of our core customer demographic: UHNW women in their 40s/50s with sharp knowledge of cutting-edge luxury fashion
• Experience with authentication
• Perfect spoken English with professional tone, grammar and sophisticated fashion vocabulary
• Friendly, warm and approachable manner, with a good sense of humour
• Strong knowledge of designer garment labels, international sizing conversions, monograms, fashion history, runway pieces, archive pieces, collaborations, creative directors, and materials/hardware
• Passion and expertise in luxury handbags, with excellent knowledge of Hermès and Chanel in particular
• Willingness to model clothing (e.g. showing the fit of a jacket live on camera to help sell the item)
• Good technical understanding of how to use phones and social media
• A proactive, “can-do” approach, happy to help source, scan and pack away product when required
