The Role of Marketing & eCommerce Assistant

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Marketing & eCommerce Assistant to work closely with the founder to support our next stage of growth, including playing a key role in bringing our brand to life across all channels.

This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from a founder with a track record of building businesses - gaining hands-on experience, developing real skills, and contributing to something meaningful from day one. 

Full training will be provided.

Working Schedule:

• In-person meetings on Mondays (Manchester City Centre)
• A check-in call / weekly round-up on Fridays
• Remaining hours can be worked remotely flexibly across the week,

Responsibilities of the Marketing & eCommerce Assistant:

• Supporting day-to-day content creation, from concept and planning to filming, editing, and posting.
• Executing the marketing calendar - supporting campaigns, launches, content rollouts, and building or brand emails. 
• Assisting with all marketing initiatives - including influencer gifting, affiliates, PR and partnerships, and brand events. 
• Working on the Shopify store and retailer platforms - updating products, stock, and site content, uploading and maintaining product pages, blogs, and collections
• Identifying ways to improve efficiency - using tools such as AI, and putting simple, scalable processes in place
• Supporting the founder with ad hoc tasks - being ready to jump in wherever needed 

What Kouree is looking for (this role is less about experience and more about mindset):

• Interested in marketing, eCommerce, sales and brand building
• Confident using Canva
• Able to edit short-form video, e.g. CapCut or similar
• Familiar with Adobe Illustrator
• A strong visual eye
• A minimum of basic graphic design experience
• Positive, proactive, and brings good energy
• Fast-moving and highly organised
• Detail-oriented in everything you do
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
• Curious, enthusiastic, and love to learn
• Creative and culturally aware, with a strong instinct for social content and storytelling 
• Always looking for smarter, quicker ways to get things done
• Familiarity with Figma is a plus
