DEPLOY is seeking a highly organised, commercially minded, creative Marketing Manager to join our London team at an exciting stage of growth, as we celebrate 20 years of reforming fashion across the UK, Europe, the US and Asia.

Working closely with the Founder/Chief Creative Officer, Chief Brand Officer, and the wider team, the Marketing Manager will help drive DEPLOY’s brand visibility and commercial growth internationally through marketing/sales, communications, content/social media, events/partnerships and clienteling.

DEPLOY works with a global community of leaders and changemakers in key cities.  This role will serve to nurture these relationships while supporting London showroom growth, international sales and the recruitment of new clients year on year.

Ideally suited to those who love the intersection of design, fashion, culture and sustainability and are able to bring strong organisational and commercial instincts with strong writing and research skills to a fast-moving, purpose-driven business.

This is an office-based role with some international travel.

Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager

Marketing, Communications & Content:

  • Generate and manage copy across email, products, ecommerce, social, events and client communications.
  • Deliver marketing strategy and activity across all channels with consistent brand tone, market-specific positioning and timeliness, and maintain marketing and event budget tracking.
  • Manage/update brand assets, client/contact database, content and marketing dashboards.
  • Support PR activities, compile press releases and materials, and maintain listings and partnerships.
  • Plan/deliver email/digital campaigns, incl. newsletters, invitations, follow-ups.
  • Support website/ecomms content, product descriptions and storytelling, collection updates and photoshoot organisation.
  • Develop and manage targeted social media plan and content calendar (with brand guidelines) to grow community, brand awareness, and increase engagement/conversion.
  • Track/evaluate social performance with insight to improve future content-specific direction/impact/engagement for events, appointments and sales indicators.

Event Organisation, Sales & Client Service:

  • Event planning and organisation for London showroom and global pop-up activities, liaising with venues, partners, suppliers and team.
  • Manage timelines, personal invitations, RSVPs, guest lists, follow-ups and event materials/programme.
  • Deliver sales and marketing around each event to drive attendance, appointments, in-person sales, client services and EComms fulfilment.
  • Support clienteling, sales, customer service and relationship courting/building to nurture loyalty and recruit new clients year on year.
  • Coordinate travel, merchandise, logistics and event schedules to support the Founder and team.
  • Work closely with the Chief Brand Officer and Chief Creative Officer + Production Team to ensure workstream and project alignment across marketing, events and sales delivery.

What Deploy is looking for:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in marketing, communications, clienteling and events organisation within the luxury fashion/premium brands sector.
  • Excellent written and spoken English as first language with strong research and copywriting skills.
  • Experience managing email marketing (Mailchimp), ecommerce platforms (Shopify) and client communications 
  • Experience in generating and managing social media and digital marketing strategy, planning, and content with measurable delivery.
  • Strong organisation and project management skills with timeliness, excellence and attention to detail.
  • Creative, visual and cultural sensitivity with commercial awareness across international markets, client demographics for sales and growth.
  • Ability and agility to work independently in a small, fast-paced, founder-led team with seasonal requirements for evening events and international travel.
  • Graphic/digital design capability, PR/media experience.
  • Flexibility required for occasional morning/evening events and travel.
  • Able to travel to the US, EU and Asia.
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Experience in relationship-led sales and client/customer service is a plus.
