Tagged Resources client, a leading wholesale supplier of hair and fashion accessories, gift boxes and packaging with over 45 years of experience, is looking for a hands-on, team-playing Marketing & Sales Manager to drive and implement operational sales and marketing activity.
The role:
Drive external sales activity, working with the team to develop and implement the sales plan and win new business.
Work with the internal teams to drive increased sales through online and direct marketing and sales channels.
Work with external agencies to define and implement the SEO / PPC strategy to maximise ROI
Work with the team to define the email comms plan and implement it through Klaviyo or a similar tool
Manage the website development directly, and where necessary, through the external agency. Working with the internal team, be responsible for website updates, content management.
Work with the team to input into and drive the sales plan and prioritisation and be responsible for driving sales from new clients.
Create sales tools for external sales, working with other team members
Work with the team to create and manage the marketing calendar and social content
Report on marketing ROI and sales plan progress and activity
What specific professional skills does the individual need and at what level, e.g. specific IT spreadsheet/analytical/modelling skills
Great interpersonal skills
Knowledge and understanding of website management, SEO, and PPC
Strong commercial focus
Sales techniques
Requirements:
Experience in SEO, PPC and email marketing campaigns
Experience in sales
Experience of working in a B2B business
Fashion experience ideally in accessories and/or packaging
‘A’ – level or above qualitifications
Excellent communication skills
Detailed, precise and quality focused
Team player
A self-starter who seeks ways to improve current practice
Energetic and enthusiastic
Wholesale experience is a plus
A marketing qualification is a plus
